Question 1

Is WowSmartphone a shop?

Accepted Answer

Not yet, and we won’t pretend otherwise. The buy page is a referral storefront: verified prices at named UK retailers, links to the official seller, and a written disclosure that no affiliate links are active. A first-party checkout only appears if/when the operator completes payments and supply arrangements.

Question 2

How can you review phones you haven’t held?

Accepted Answer

We don’t claim to have held them. Every review uses a published rubric: criteria that verified specifications support are scored and dated; criteria that require hands-on use (real-world wow, confirmed usability) stay visibly unscored. When test units exist, the scores get filled in and the page says so.

Question 3

Which wow phones can I actually buy in the UK?

Accepted Answer

Verified 21 September 2026: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Honor Magic V5 are officially available. The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold and Huawei Mate XT2 are NOT sold in the UK — grey-market imports carry no UK warranty. The iPhone Fold was announced with a media-reported 23 October on-sale date and unpublished UK pricing.

Question 4

Should I repair my phone or replace it?

Accepted Answer

Run the calculator. It compares your real repair quote with your phone’s real resale value against our published lines (40% of resale for slab phones, 30% for foldables), and applies a support-window override. It shows the working either way.
